Missing Illinois teen found in Oklahoma

(KFVS) -

Illinois State Police have canceled the Amber Alert for a missing Illinois teen saying she's been found in Oklahoma.

The 16-year-old from Virginia, Illinois, north of Springfield had last been seen at 6:00 a.m. Tuesday morning by her mother.

Four hours later her mother reported the girl and her 1993 Mazda Miata Convertible missing.

ISP issued an Amber Alert for the missing girl, suspecting she was will Russell R. Wade, 45.

Investigators believed the two were headed to Idaho.


At 4:43 a.m. this morning, ISP reported the teen was found in Oklahoma.
