GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - A Graves County, Kentucky pair was arrested on drug charges recently.
Kevin Morris, 27, of Mayfield, was charged with possession of a controlled substance first degree methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and contempt of court for failure to appear.
Brandy Turner, 31, was charged with trafficking a controlled substance first degree less than 2 grams of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon, detectives with the Drug Division stopped at a home in the 200 block of Hale Street in Mayfield on Monday afternoon to execute a warrant for Morris.
During his arrest, Morris allegedly had a cannister and a straw in his pockets that contained meth.
Sheriff Redmon said Morris lives at the house on Hale Street with Turner.
After searching the home, more meth was allegedly found in Turner's purse, along with digital scales and plastic baggies that had been used to package meth.
Also, a small amount of marijuana was allegedly found in her pocket and in another room of the house.
