Police working to ID woman accused of theft

CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) -

The Carbonale Police Department is looking for a woman in connection with a retail theft investigation on June 12.

According to police, the incident happened in the 1400 block of East Main Street.

During the investigation, police got surveillance video of a woman who allegedly left the business without paying for items. The woman is described as being in her 40s or early 50s and wearing a grey t-shirt and blue jeans.

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the woman.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police department at 618-457-3200, extension 405.
