PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - A McCracken County man was arrested after police say he admitted to stabbing his friend.
Robert T. Hiett, 45, of the 200 block of Colonial Drive was arrested on a charge of first-degree assault, according to the Paducah Police Department.
Paducah police were dispatched to a home in the 1000 block of River Oaks Boulevard for a stabbing.
Police found Danny Carden, 45, awaiting an ambulance in the driveway. A woman was with him, and told police that Carden had been stabbed by Robert Hiett.
Police found Hiett inside the home, along with a bloody knife on a table in the kitchen.
During an interview, Hiett told police that he had stabbed Carden.
Carden had three stab wounds to the back and was taken to Lourdes Hospital for treatment.
Hiett was arrested on a charge of first-degree assault and booked into McCracken County Regional Jail.
