(KFVS) - Let's turn back the clock and check out the music scene from 40 years ago.

These were the songs atop the Billboard Hot 100 this week in 1975.

At number five was Major Harris with "Love Won't Let Me Wait."

Holding down the number four position was Michael Martin Murphy with a the song about a young woman who died in a blizzard while searching for her pony named "Wildfire."

In the number three spot was Paul McCartney and Wings with "Listen to What the Man Said."

At number two was a disco classic, Van McCoy with "The Hustle."

And in the number one position was the Captain and Tennille with their signature hit "Love Will Keep Us Together" which went on to become the number one song of the year.
