Armed, dangerous man wanted in connection to deadly Pemiscot Co. shooting

Hayti man shot, killed in Pemiscot Co.

PEMISCOT COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - The Pemiscot County Sheriff's Department is looking for a man in connection with a deadly Pemiscot County shooting.

According to Sheriff Tommy Greenwell, a warrant was issued on July 10 for Ratio Frederick Armour, 26, of Steele, Mo. He is charged with first degree murder and armed criminal action in the murder of Larry Turner on Friday, July 3.

Armour is considered armed and dangerous.

The sheriff said anyone coming in contact with Armour is asked to contact the Pemiscot County Sheriff's Office at 573-333-4101, or their local law enforcement agency.

Officials say they received a call around 7:30 a.m. on Friday.

Witnesses say they were driving down Highway F west of Holland, Mo. and saw a body on the ground in front of a trailer.

They then called police.

The victim, identified as Larry Turner, 30, of Hayti, Mo., was shot multiple times.

An autopsy was set for 10 a.m. on Saturday in Farmington, Mo.

The Pemiscot County Sheriff's Department is currently investigating the incident, and is being assisted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime Patrol.
