Jefferson Co. officials searching for Festus woman

JEFFERSON COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

The Jefferson County, MO Sheriff's Department is looking for community assistance in locating the whereabouts of a 50 year old woman from Festus, MO, who was reported missing on Thursday at approximately 03:10 a.m.

The female is identified as Angela R. Kirby, living at 2900 block of Meyer Rd. in Festus, MO.

Kirby is a white woman 50 years of age, weighing an estimated 160 pounds, and has hazel eyes and blonde hair.

Kirby’s GMC Safari Van was located in a creek near Buck Creek Rd. in Festus. 

It is believed that Kirby’s vehicle was swept off the roadway during last night’s storm.

No foul play is suspected.

If anyone has information on the whereabouts of Kirby, you're asked to contact the Jefferson County 911 Dispatch Center @ 636-797-9999.

In addition if anyone has a family member or friend that was in the area of Hwy 67 and Buck Creek Rd. Festus last night and have not heard from them, contact the Jefferson County 911 Dispatch Center.
