Anniston, MO man accused of stealing four-wheeler, other items

MISSISSIPPI COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - A Mississippi County, Missouri man was arrested in connection with a burglary investigation.

Stanley G. Johnson, 55, of Anniston, Mo., was charged with burglary in the second degree, stealing a motor vehicle, theft/stealing of property valued at more than $500 and second degree property damage. His bond was set at $50,000.

According to Mississippi County Sheriff Keith Moore, the investigation began on Monday, June 29 when a rural resident reported a four-wheeler and other items stolen from his home.

Deputies identified Johnson as a suspect.

Sheriff Moore said they found Johnson and the stolen property at an Anniston home. Johnson was then arrested and taken to the Mississippi County Detention Center.

Johnson was charged with the second degree property damage for allegedly damaging a door to get into the victim's home.
