Fiery car crash kills 2 in Stoddard County

STODDARD COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports two Zalma residents were killed during a car crash Sunday evening.

Crash reports show James Wade, 57, was driving with Angela Freeman, 49, when Wade drove his car off the side of Route M, hitting an embankment.

The car overturned and caught on fire.

The highway patrol reports Wade was ejected.

The Stoddard County coroner pronounced both Wade and Freeman dead at the scene just after 8:30 p.m.

This fatality accident increased the number of deaths in Troop E to 31 for 2015.
