Weather Outlook:

It's a good day to do work in your yard or just spend some time outside. Brian says temps will still be 85-90, but not oppressive because humidity is down. Making headlines:

Lost control: A Cape Girardeau police officer is recovering after he lost control of his police cruiser and slammed into a home, hitting a gas line along the way.

Severe storms: It's likely at least three tornadoes touched down Sunday evening in Missouri. At this time, there are no reports of any injuries.

On the rise: Homeowners across the Heartland are still feeling the impact of flood waters. However, there is no relief in sight just yet. The Mississippi is on the rise again, and isn't expected to crest until Thursday.

High alert: The FBI and local authorities are investigating a string of church fires in North Carolina. It remains unknown whether any of the fires could be classified as a hate crime.
