Terrorist Attack: French authorities have opened a terrorism investigation after an attack and explosion at a gas factory that left one person decapitated and several wounded.

Recovery Efforts: The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating how a sightseeing plane crashed in Alaska, killing 8 passengers and the pilot.
