MINER, MO (KFVS) -

Officers with the Miner Police Department arrested and charged a Kennett man with felony stealing, possession of burglar tools, trespassing on Saturday.

After a series of storage sheds were broken into, the property owner of AA Mini Storage located Robert West, 57, of Kennett, Missouri, on the property.

Officers say it appeared that Mr. West was cutting locks and stealing items from storage lockers.

An officer was close to the property (actually pulling into the property to check on the storage units) and observed West in his vehicle and was attempting to flee.

Officers pursued Mr. West on the property around the storage sheds, and he was blocked in by officers with the assistance of the property owner.

Mr. West was arrested and during the investigation and inventory search, several stolen items were recovered, such as two computers, a monitor, and several variations of household items.

Mr. West's bond was set at $10,000 cash only and was taken to the Miner Police Department.
