3 people arrested in KY on drug charges

CALLOWAY COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

Three people were arrested today in Calloway County during an investigation into possible drug activity.

The Kentucky State Police responded today to a residence on Elm Grove Road, in Calloway County, to assist Probation and Parole with investigating possible illegal activity.

Upon their arrival, a search of the property and residence was conducted.

A Kentucky State Police canine was also utilized during the search.

Numerous items of drug paraphernalia and illegal narcotics were located throughout the residence, as well as in the possession of numerous people.

Alicia Crouch, 57, was cited for possession of a controlled substance and prescription controlled substance not in proper container.

Christopher Cooper, 28, was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of synthetic drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jared Crouch, 25, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Also located during the search was a fugitive, Amanda Duncan, 33, who was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Marshall County.

All arrested subjects were transported and lodged in the Calloway County Jail.

Once at Calloway County Jail, Jared Crouch was also charged with promoting contraband for attempting to bring more drugs into the jail.
