Paducah, KY woman accused of chasing, cutting fiance with knife

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) -

A Paducah, Kentucky woman was arrested on Wednesday afternoon, June 17 after a domestic disturbance.

Sierra N. Johnson, 28, was charged with second degree assault (domestic violence).

According to Paducah police, at about 3:30 p.m. officers responded to the area of 11th and Madison Streets for a report of a possible stabbing.

Witnesses told officers they saw Johnson chasing her fiance around the yard with a knife in her hand.

The man told officers Johnson started an argument with him and during the argument she picked up a knife and cut him on the arm. She then allegedly began chasing him around with the knife.

During an interview with an officer, Johnson allegedly admitted to arguing with the victim and cutting him with a steak knife.

Police say both the victim and Johnson received minor cuts during the fight and received treatment at the scene by an ambulance.

Johnson was booked into the McCracken County Regional Jail.
