Foo Fighters cancel more tour dates

(KFVS) - Foo Fighters front man Dave Grohl is following doctor's orders.

Due to an injury the singer suffered after falling off stage during a show in Sweden on June 12, the band is canceling the rest of its concerts in the U.K. and Europe, according to a post on its official

.

Grohl had surgery on Monday to repair his broken leg, and it is still unclear when he will be cleared to return to the stage.

The overseas cancellations include the following concerts:

  • style="box-sizing: border-box; margin-bottom: 4px;">June 19 & 20 - London, UK - Wembley Stadium
  • style="box-sizing: border-box; margin-bottom: 4px;">June 23 - Edinburgh, UK - BT Murrayfield Stadium
  • style="box-sizing: border-box; margin-bottom: 4px;">June 25 - Werchter, Belgium - Festivalpark Werchter
  • style="box-sizing: border-box; margin-bottom: 0px;">June 26 - Glastonbury Festival 2015

The American leg of "Sonic Highways" tour begins on Saturday, July 4 in Washington, D.C.

The Foo Fighters are scheduled to appear at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Maryland Heights, Mo. on August 19.
