Hundreds came out to the expansion dedication at the Brookside Memorial Park in Jackson, MO.

Four panels and 108 names were added to the memorial wall honoring Veterans from all wars.

As flags blow gently in the wind in Jackson at this memorial on Flag Day, people listened quietly as speakers and Veterans Larry Koehler and Lawson Burgfeld shared their stories and honored those that gave so much for American freedom.

Veterans we spoke with say their names being on the wall is a great feeling knowing so many care.

To be honored and knowing their family, friends and community makes it that much more meaningful for them.

Of the four panels added, there are room for hundreds more names to be etched on. There is also room for six more additional panels that could add  over 1,000 more names.
