BUTLER COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - According to Butler County Sheriff Mark Dobbs, two people have been arrested after an assault on a man in Butler County on early Friday morning.

It was reported that April Noyes, 37, held down her then boyfriend while Noyes's son, Desean Bell, 17, stabbed him several times.

According to the probable cause statement, officers were dispatched to Lyla Lane where a man was reportedly stabbed in the head, neck and side. Officers say he had visible injuries and his clothes were soaked in blood.

The victim told officers that Bell stabbed him while his girlfriend, Noyes, held him down.

The victim was taken to a Poplar Bluff hospital and then air lifted to a Cape Girardeau hospital due to his condition.

In the probable cause statement, officers say they found Noyes sitting on the driveway of the home on Lyla Lane. When they approached her, she allegedly said, "I stabbed that [Expletive], come arrest me," and "I stabbed him, take me to jail."

When they approached her to arrest her, officers say they say a substantial amount of blood on her face, shirt and shorts. They say they also saw a large, blood-stained knife laying on the ground next to her.

Noyes and Bell, both of Neelyville, were arrested and are being held in the Butler County Jail on a $50,000 bond.

They are both being charged with armed criminal action and a first degree assault.

Both Noyes and Bell are scheduled for an arraignment for June 15 at 9 a.m. in Butler County.
