Woman, 2 children taken to hospital after Calloway Co. crash

CALLOWAY COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

A woman and her two children were taken to the hospital after a two vehicle crash on Monday, May 4.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office responded to a crash at the intersection of Radio Road and Roosevelt Road at around 6:30 p.m. on Monday.

Deputies say 32-year-old Samantha L. Coleman, of Hardin, Ky., and her two children were going north on Radio Road in a 1997 gray Lincoln.

As Coleman approached the intersection of Roosevelt Road, deputies say a white 2002 Honda driven by Daniel C. Bell, of Paducah, pulled into her path.

Bell's vehicle was also carrying two passengers.

Coleman and her two children were taken to a Murray hospital for treatment of injuries.

Deputies say neither Bell, nor any of his passengers, were injured.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Murray Ambulance Service, Calloway County Fire and Rescue and the Murray Fire Department.
