MO woman seriously injured in crash

MISSISSIPPI COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

A Bertrand, Mo. woman was seriously hurt in an early Tuesday morning crash on U.S. 62, three miles west of Charleston, Mo. in Mississippi County.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, 32-year-old Holly S. Parker was partially thrown from her car after she, for an unknown reason, drove off the road just before 5:45 a.m.

Parker was flown to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau with serious injuries.

Her 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis flipped in the crash and is reportedly totaled.  

Troopers report that Parker was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
