MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

Three people, including a juvenile, were sent to the hospital after a crash on Monday, May 4.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department were dispatched to the 6000 block of U.S. Highway 60 at around 5:23 p.m. for a two vehicle crash.

They say Ethan Flynn, 19, of Paducah, was driving a 2003 Toyota Highlander northbound on Maxon Road when he tried to cross the traffic lanes of both east and westbound U.S. Highway 60.

According to deputies, Joseph Childress, 35, and a juvenile passenger, both of Grand Rivers, Ky., were going westbound on U.S. Highway 60 when they were hit by Flynn.

Deputies say Childress lost control of the vehicle and spun into traffic before stopping, facing the westbound traffic.

Flynn was taken to an area hospital.

Childress and the juvenile were taken to another area hospital for apparent non-life threatening injuries.

Deputies were assisted at the scene by Mercy Regional EMS, Concord Fire and Meadow's Towing.
