4 arrested in connection to burglary investigations

PEMISCOT COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

Four people have been arrested in connection with an investigation into numerous farm shop burglaries and home burglaries.

Charlie Michael Cook, 17, of Braggadocio, Mo., was arrested and charged with one count of first degree burglary, two counts of second degree burglary and two counts of stealing over $500.

He is being held in the Pemiscot County Jail with no bond and will appear before a judge on Tuesday, May 5 at 10 a.m.

Three juveniles were also arrested and then released to the Juvenile Office.

The Pemiscot County Sheriff's Office and Caruthersville Police Department have been investigating into numerous farm shop burglaries and home burglaries during the past few months.

According to the sheriff's office, they recovered thousands of dollars of stolen guns, jewelry, televisions, gaming devices, clothing, shoes and farm tools.

They say the investigation is ongoing with more charges expected to be filed.
