CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) - A vigil to remember the people affected by the earthquake in Nepal is being held on Thursday, April 30 at 7 p.m. at the fountain in front of Faner Hall on Southern Illinois University Carbondale's campus.

A SIUC master's student in physics, Nikesh Maharjn, from Nepal's capital Kathmandu has more than two dozen family member that have been displaced from their home following the aftermath of the earthquake.
