1 sent to hospital after collision in McCracken County

WEST PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) -

 One person was sent to the hospital after a collision in McCracken County on Friday.

According to the sheriff's office, it happened at the intersection of Mckendree Church Road and Childress Road. 

April Speer, 43, of Bardwell, Ky. was traveling northbound on Mckendree Church Road when Matthew Moss, 19, of Kevil Ky. who was westbound pulled into her path causing a collision. Moss said that he did not see Speer prior to pulling into the intersection.

Speer was taken to Western Baptist Hospital for apparent non-life threatening injuries.

Deputies were assisted on scene by Mercy Regional EMS, West McCracken Fire, and Meadow's Towing.
