Two people accused in Harrisburg, Carrier Mills home invasions

CARRIER MILLS, IL (KFVS) -

The Harrisburg Police Department have arrested two men in connection with an armed robbery and home invasion that happened on Sunday, April 19.

Police used video footage recorded at a home in the 100 block of East Raymond Street to identify and arrest Carl E. Cambell, 52, and Kyle M. Day, 24, according to Harrisburg Police Chief Bob Smith.

Both suspects have been charged with home invasion, armed robbery and possession of stolen property.

Cambell has also been charged with possession of a deadly weapon for a rifle found in his vehicle.

The Carrier Mills, Illinois Police Department is also investigating a home invasion and armed robbery that happened early on Monday morning, April 20, according to Carrier Mills Police Chief Charles Rubright, which is connected to the home invasion and armed robbery that happened in Harrisburg.

The Saline County Sheriff's Department also responded to the incident in Carrier Mills.

The investigation is ongoing by the Carrier Mills Police Department.
