Crash in Butler County sends woman and 2 young children to hospital

Crash in Butler County sends woman and 2 young children to hospital

POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KFVS) -

A Crash on Wednesday night in Butler County sent a 22-year-old woman and two small children to the hospital.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, the incident happened at 8:08 p.m. on Highway 53 a half mile south of Poplar Bluff.

The crash report indicates a 1998 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Lay Khoan, 47 of Poplar Bluff, attempted to pass a 2001 Ford F150 driven by Jamie Foster, 22 of Poplar Bluff.

According to the highway patrol, upon Khoan's attempt to pass the other truck, Foster turned into the path of Khoan.

Jamie Foster was transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Two children, a two-year-old and a baby, were taken by private vehicle to the hospital.

All three are said to have minor injuries.

No word on whether Khoan suffered injuries.
