PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - American Quilters Society Quilt Week officially began on Wednesday.

It's Paducah's biggest tourist attraction, doubling the city's population.

Thousands of quilting fans but none have ever seen this.

At this year's American Quilter's Society Quilt Week, one showcase might have you doing a double take.

From one angle you see Jackie Kennedy Onassis.

Front the front, it's Oprah.

And then the last hidden image, if you square your head just right, it's Mother Teresa.

The ‘for-display-only,' piece has folks stopping in their tracks to get a peek and a picture.

“I have never seen anything done that way,” said one quilter.

“I got to learn how to do it,” said another quilter.

But, there is plenty more to see, event coordinators say.

Folks from every state and 15 countries made Paducah the place to be for this year's quilt week.

“It has put us on the world platform for quilting,” said Mary Hammond from the Paducah Convention and Visitors Bureau.
