Cape Girardeau, Jackson parks host cleanup day

CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

Mark your calendars. Cape Girardeau and Jackson will hold their annual Park Cleanup Day on Saturday, April 25.

Those interested in participating in Cape Girardeau can call the Parks and Recreation Dept. at 573-339-6340 or show up Saturday morning at Capaha Park at 8:30 a.m.

Work projects will begin at 9 a.m., with Schnucks providing a lunch consisting of hotdogs, chips and soda for participants.

Those interested in participating in Jackson's Annual Park Cleanup Day should meet at Shelter #1 at 8 a.m., in the main City Park.

T-shirts will be provided on a first come, first served basis.

Lunch will be provided at 11 a.m.
