Police: Man accused of Farmington, MO bank robbery in custody

FARMINGTON, MO (KFVS) -

A suspected bank robber has been caught, according to Farmington, Missouri police.

Police say on Thursday shortly after 11 a.m., officers were dispatched to to a hold up alarm at US Bank on N. Washington Street.

A 41-year-old man left the bank with an amount of money and reportedly had a gun.

When he was later arrested, no gun was found.

He's being held in the St. Francois County Jail pending formal charges.

The St. Francois County Sheriff's Department assisted in the search and capture of the suspect.

His name is not being released at this time.
