19-year-old faces charges after Randolph County burglary

RANDOLPH COUNTY, IL (KFVS) -

One person is accused after a reported burglary in Randolph County, Illinois, according to the sheriff's office.

According to the sheriff, Courtney L. Ray, 19, of Steeleville faces residential burglary charges.

A 911 call was placed Wednesday afternoon reporting the burglary on Boedker Lane in Walsh, Illinois.

The victim returned home and got a description of the suspect and vehicle.

Items taken from the burglary were found the Ray's vehicle.

The Illinois State Police Crime Scene Division assisted in the investigation.

Also assisting the Randolph Co. Sheriff's Office were the Steeleville PD, the Sparta PD, and ISP.
