Auditions set for "Healin' Home"

CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) - Calling all actors and actresses. Auditions are set for an upcoming production at Varsity Center of the Arts in Carbondale, IL.

On May 4 and 5 at 6:30 p.m.. auditions will be held for Healin' Home, by Kari Catton and directed by Kevin Purcell at the Varsity Center for the Arts at 418 South Illinois Ave., Carbondale, IL.

The director of the play is looking for two men, age 40 to 60, three women, age 35 to 60, one boy, age 15 to 18, one girl or boy, age 8 to 11, and two girls, age 14 to 18.

Callbacks will be May 6 at 6:30 p.m.

The playbook for Healin' Home is available at Carbondale Public Library by just asking for the Stage Company's reserve file. 

Play Rehearsals begin May 18 at 6:30 p.m. and show dates are scheduled for July 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, and 19.
