If you drive along Broadway in Cape you might notice some new additions.

The Public Art Committee launched the city's second public art outdoor exhibition.

The show consists of seven substantial pieces to be placed along Broadway in Cape Girardeau for one year.

“Making the work is the only good part, really. The politics and all of that stuff and the selling it and getting it around and all of that stuff is a real pain. Making the work is really great and meeting other artists is really good,” said Mike Baur.

The Committee hopes to increase arts-related activities in the region and help revitalize strategy Old Town Cape.
