FARMINGTON, MO (KFVS) -
More than 250 cars had hail damage following Wednesday's hail storm in eastern Missouri.
Staff at Crown Motors in Farmington said every car has more than $1,000 worth of damage from dents and cracked windshields.
“Ultimately we have to fix them and sell them," said John Robinson of Crown Motors. "We are probably going to have to pass some discounts on to our customers because all of these cars have to find a home. So, we are going to try to make lemonade out of lemons and really that is all we can do."
The good news is, the discounts will be passed along to customers.
Car dealerships weren't the only businesses cleaning up a mess.
The ACE Hardware garden display in Park Hills took a beating too.
Following the storm, tarps and roof repair equipment has been flying off the shelves.
“Oh yes they're distraught," said Vickie Murray of ACE Hardware. "Everybody is telling you their story and what's wrong with their house and their car damage. It's bad."
Many customers also took shelter in the store's business.
