There will be a new man in charge at Cape Central High School this summer.
Christopher Kase will take over for Dr. Mike Cowan on July 1.
Kase is no stranger to students or staff.
He's been the assistant principal since last August and graduated from Southeast Missouri State University; and got his masters from Missouri Baptist.
Kase says he looks forward to keeping up the high standards set by Dr. Cowan.
"We have done a lot of work in the last few years here at Central,” said Kase. “I've been a part of it just this one last year but, prior to that and just very excited about the direction we are headed as a school, we are just really doing the latest things that are going to be the best for kids."
