UNION COUNTY, IL (KFVS) -

An overnight fire destroyed a building in Union County at the intersection of routes 146 and 127, according to the Union County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies say the fire is just west of Jonesboro at the Old Dover's Junction building, which was being used for storage at the time of the fire.

It's unclear what was being stored in the building, but officials say damages are estimated at $200,000.

The fire burned the building to the ground, according to officials.

Crews were called out around 1:30 a.m. Friday.

No word right now on what caused the fire.
