2.2 earthquake reported near Steele, MO

STEELE, MO (KFVS) -

The U.S. Geological Survey reports a 2.2 magnitude earthquake hit around 3 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21.

The earthquake was about 1 mile south, southwest of Steele, Mo. and about 16 miles southeast of Kennett, Mo.

According to the preliminary report, it had a depth of 9 km.
