GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - The Graves County Sheriff's Office arrested a man who was reportedly selling stolen property in the Lynnville community.

According to the office, they received complaints that Charles May, 50, was going around attempting to sell property that they believed may be stolen.

Investigations showed May had a large propane tank that had been stolen from a house located on Swan Road.

After issuing a warrant to search May's home, deputies recovered the tank, and also found other tools and pieces of small equipment that they believed were also stolen.

During the search, deputies also located drug paraphernalia and meth inside the house.

Deputies arrested May in Mayfield where they found him leaving a business on the south side of town.

May was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and receiving stolen property.

The sheriff's department asks that if anyone has purchased items from May or had been approached by him to call the office at 270-247-4501.
