Amazing story of survival for 7-year-old girl

It's an amazing story of survival for a 7-year-old girl who walked nearly one mile in cold temperatures in one sock and shorts to get help after a plane crash Friday night. We have team coverage on Heartland News at Five and Six.

Today, Holly Brantley spoke with the Lyon County sheriff who was the first on the scene of the crash. Holly also talked with the landowner who says he is amazed the little girl was able to walk to a house for help. Nick Chabarria spoke with the Mt. Vernon airport manager about the pilot.
