Police make 2 shoplifting arrests in Kennett, MO

KENNETT, MO (KFVS) -

Kennett police say two people are accused of shoplifting at Walmart on Saturday evening.

The first incident happened Jan. 3 at around 6:07 p.m.

Kennett officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifter being detained.

When officers arrived on the scene, Tammy L. Thomas, 54, of Hornersville, Missouri was taken into custody for shoplifting.

She was released on summons to appear in Kennett municipal court for the charge.

Then, at approximately 9:36 p.m. Kennett officers were dispatched to Walmart for another shoplifter.

Kimberly Vance of Kennett, 24, was taken into custody for shoplifting.

She was released on summons to appear in Kennett municipal court for the charge.
