Man faces charges after traffic stop in Murphysboro

Murphysboro police say a man is facing charges after a traffic stop on Saturday.

According to police, about 1 p.m. officers were alerted to a possible impaired driver in the area of Walnut and Williams Streets in Murphysboro.

Police say during the stop, the driver of the vehicle provided a false name to police.

Officers were able to identify him as Keith Bryan Przybocki, 31, of Murphysboro. He was found to have an outstanding Felony Warrant from Jackson County.

He also had a revoked driver's license. During the arrest, shotgun shells were located the vehicle.

Przybocki was taken to the Jackson County Jail on the outstanding warrant. He also faces charges of driving while license revoked, unlawful possession of ammunition by a felon, and obstructing identification.
