MO Gov. Nixon appoints Wexler Horn as new Circuit Judge for 24th Circuit

JEFFERSON CITY, MO (KFVS) -

Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon on Friday appointed St. Francois County Associate Judge Wendy Wexler Horn, of Farmington, as the new Circuit Judge for the 24th Judicial Circuit.

This comes after the retirement of Judge Kenneth W. Pratte.

According to Nixon's office, Judge Wexler Horn was appointed to the Associate Circuit bench in October 2011 and elected in 2012 and 2014.

“As a public servant in St. Francois County, Judge Wexler Horn has won respect both as a prosecutor and as a judge,” Gov. Nixon said. “I am pleased to appoint her to this new position on the bench, where she will continue to serve the people of this circuit.”

Judge Wexler Horn served as the St. Francois County prosecuting attorney from 2001 to 2011.
