KY man accused of sexually assaulting woman

CADIZ, KY (KFVS) -

A Cadiz, Kentucky man is accused of sexually assaulting a woman while she was "physically helpless."

Randy Wallis, 63, was charged with rape, distribution of an obscene matter to a minor and unlawful transaction with a minor.

According to the Trigg County Sheriff's Office, deputies began investigating a sexual assault complaint that happened on Dec. 29.

They say Wallis allegedly videotaped and took pictures of the incident while the victim was under the influence of prescription pills and incapable of consent.

He then allegedly showed the video and pictures to the victim's son, and allegedly bought marijuana and paraphernalia for the son.

Wallis is being held in the Christian County Jail with a $25,000 bond.

He is due in court on Jan. 6, 2015 at the Trigg County  Courthouse.
