SIKESTON, MO (KFVS) -

Firefighters fought a large fire at a warehouse on Missouri Department of Transportation property in Sikeston Sunday morning.

The fire badly damaged a garage on Garwood Ave. and Edwards Ave. just off of Malone Ave. It started around 9 a.m.

Crews were able to save two MoDOT trucks from the south end of the building. Two other vehicles on that end of the shop were badly damaged, according to a firefighter with the Sikeston Department of Public Safety.

MoDOT workers pulled four other vehicles that were in the north part of the building to safety by dragging them out with another vehicle.

No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
