CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

A YouCaring page has been set up for the family of a father and son who died in an interstate crash near Dallas Monday night.

Jarred Schumpert and his toddler son, both of Cape Girardeau, were killed in a crash that also injured Schumpert's wife, Laura Schumpert.

The goal for the page is to reach $15,000. All money raised goes to help Laura Schumpert and family. As of Wednesday morning, the total was more than $2,000.

A friend of Jarred Schumbert, Kody Krems, started the page. Krems says his friend always had a smile on his face and was a kind and hard working man.

You can visit the page by clicking here.
