2 southern Illinois men facing drug related charges after traffic stop

ENERGY, IL (KFVS) - Police say two men are facing charges after a traffic stop in southern Illinois.

According to a report from Energy, Illinois police, officers stopped a vehicle Dec. 21 shortly before 2 a.m.

After sobriety tests, police say Andrew Bloodworth, 28, of Marion, Illinois was charged with driving under the influence.

Police say they found meth manufacturing items in the vehicle.

Cody Parks, 25, of Marion was also taken into custody.

Bloodworth was charged with traffic violations, possession of drug paraphernalia, meth related charges.

Parks faces charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, and meth related charges.

Both were taken to the Williamson County Jail.
