3 facing drug related charges in Graves County


Graves County, Kentucky authorities say three people face drug charges after an investigation.

Sheriff Dewayne Redmon reports that earlier this week he received a tip of illegal drug activity in the Fancy Farm, Kentucky community.

Thursday morning detectives identified a vehicle leaving a home on Willett Street in Fancy Farm.

The vehicle was stopped and during a search of the vehicle using the department's K9 Sakal. Redmon says methamphetamine and marijuana and drug paraphernalia was located inside the home.

Curtis Draper, 27, of Kevil and Kenneth Throgmorton, 28, of Paducah were charged with possession of controlled substance 1st degree and possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were booked in the Graves County Jail.

Detectives then went to the home where they had seen the two leaving from earlier. They searched the home of Brittiany Nicole Hollan of Fancy Farm.

During the search of the residence the K9 located an amount of marijuana in a bedroom of the apartment. Hollan was cited for possession of marijuana.

Sheriff Redmon says he appreciates citizens reporting suspected illegal drug activity to his office.
