Couple accused of taking Illinois man's wallet from restaurant

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) -

The Paducah, Kentucky Police Department says it has received surveillance photos of a couple suspected in the theft of a wallet from a a restaurant in early October.

Fredrick Wiley of Harrisburg, Illinois told police he ate at Panera Bread restaurant in Paducah between 8:30-9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4.

When he got home, he realized he didn't have his wallet and he contacted the restaurant.

The restaurant manager told officers there was surveillance video of a man taking the wallet from the counter.

Anyone with information about the identity of either the man or woman pictured is asked to call the Paducah Police Department at 270/444-8550 or Crime Stoppers at 443-TELL.

Tipsters also may access the online tip form through the City of Paducah website at http://paducahky.gov/paducah/west-ky-crime-stoppers.

Information leading to an arrest or indictment may result in a reward of up to $1,000.
