MCCLURE, IL (KFVS) -

Crews were on the scene of a house fire in McClure, Illinois on Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 17.

According to the McClure fire chief, a mobile home was on fire off of Grapevine Trail.

He said the fire began in the front of the mobile home and was contained to that area. There was also extreme smoke damage.

The McClure fire chief said they don't know how the fire started.

The family was not home at the time of the call.

Horseshoe and Tamms Fire Departments also responded.

Seana Hale lived in the home with her husband and two children.

Hale says all of the family's Christmas gifts were lost in the home.

Pastor Aaron Boyd with The Spark Ministries in McClure is accepting donations to help the family.

Donations can be dropped off to 'The Sparks' across from Lindsay Cemetery in McClure or at the Baptist Church of McClure.
