Chicago man facing multiple charges after traffic stop in Energy

ENERGY, IL (KFVS) -

A Chicago, Illinois man is facing multiple charges after he was pulled over on Wednesday morning, Dec. 17.

Samuel D. Hill, 24, was charged with improper lane usage, failure to dim headlights and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

He was taken to the Williamson County Jail.

According to the Energy Police Department, at around 3:15 a.m. an officer pulled over a vehicle for a minor traffic violation.

The officer allegedly found 21.2 grams of what was believed to be cocaine.

The driver, Hill, was arrested.

The Energy police officer was assisted by a Herrin officer and the Energy K9 unit.
