Paducah man arrested for marijuana trafficking

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) -

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department arrested a man for marijuana trafficking.

Since early December, the department has been investigating Paducah resident Steven Potts, 35, for selling medical grade marijuana from is apartment close to The Scholar House and West Kentucky Community and Technical College.

While searching Potts' apartment, detectives found medical grade marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

The departments says Potts' 5-year-old daughter was also home at the time of the warrant and the items were in an area where she could've easily accessed.

Potts was charged with three counts of Trafficking Controlled Substance Within 1,000 feet of a school.

He was also charged with Wanton Endangerment in the 2nd Degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
