Dexter man sentenced to life without parole in connection to murder

STODDARD COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

A Dexter, Missouri man accused of shooting a victim to death has been sentenced for the crime.

Court papers show Matthew Cook was sentenced to life without parole in connection to the murder of Sean Crow.

Matthew Cook pleaded guilty to murder first degree. He entered the plead on Monday, and was sentenced to life without parole in prison.

He appeared at the Stoddard County Justice Center.

34-year-old Sean Crow was shot to death in February 2013 and his body was discovered in Advance, Missouri.

Glen Scott Evans was convicted of driving the accused murderer to the scene.

According to court documents, Crow was shot to death.

Crow's body was discovered in a red pickup truck outside the Advance McDonald's.
